This ensures faster growth and improved plant quality compared to conventional gelled medium. The bioreactor is easy to handle, save space and labor. It has now been used successfully for apple, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, rhubarb, potato, ornamentals such as Clematis, Echinacea, Digitalis, several types of grasses and banana.
